This Lamp is best suited to enclosures with 60cm height. Please allow additional 12-15cm for the bulb to point directly down in a ceramic fitting. This can be inside or outside of the enclosure.

Enclosures should be well ventilated and reptiles kept away from the glass surface. The surface of the bulb gets to 150-200 Degrees Celsius.

A 6 Month warranty comes with this bulb, beginning the date it is tested before shipping. It will cover breakage during shipping to you and be limited to electrical defect. We do not guarantee against eskom loadshedding and dirty power faults. See Terms and Conditions for more details.

The PAR38 form factor of UVB light has proven to be very robust with very rare failures. This allows user to get on average 18 months high UVB output from the bulb.
